(SOLVED) PayPal Issue (customer emailed to tell me)


Hey Airbit,

had a customer email me earlier to tell me he is having difficulties with checking out using Paypal. When going to process he is presented with an “error” - I have just now tested myself and can confirm the error is there. (screenshot provided).

This error popped up twice and on the 3rd attempt it loaded as normal and took me to Paypal to pay.

Any idea what may be causing this?

Everything looks a-ok on our end, so there may’ve been a temporary issue on Paypal’s side - it does happen from time to time.

If you’re not doing so already, we always recommend adding Stripe as a second payment option so customers can still checkout with a debit/credit card if there is an issue with Paypal. This can be added in Settings > Selling Preferences

yeah I got stripe set up as well. I figured it may have been a PayPal issue but thought I’d bring it to Airbits attention ‘just in case’
