#2

I Have 2 high end pair of Ultrasone S-Logic

and a pair of Sony MDR-7506

#3

I’ve been enjoying the pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro that I bought some years ago… very solid and long lasting pair of headphones… now if I can just replace my soundcard that broke so I can get my audio box working again, I’d be good to go. lol

#4

I have the AKG 240 MKII studio headphones

#5

got Beyerdynamic DT250’s fell in love with them on first use tho i do need tape to hold the over head bit 2gether now lol but still sound awesome!

#6

what do y all think about beats by dre, didnt had a opprtunity to use some of them…

#7

I’ve heard from many beat makers that those headphones are better used for listening to hip hop music rather than actually mixing with them, and that you’re better off going with another brand altogether, but this is what I’ve heard. That said, I will not be going with a Beats set of phones, I’d rather just buy the pair I have again if I can find them again, or test for something a bit higher end than what I have, but Sennheiser’s definitely proven itself to me so I’d stick with the same brand.

Personally i think their perfectly good 4listening to your tunes off your i-pod but for mixing studio headphones i’d go to specialist retailers n get ones that aren’t available in any old stereo shop.

beyerdynamic DT100’s are a standard in alot of pro studios, radio stations, tv sound men ect.

the DT250’s are just a more comfortable head set designed for prolonged use, same sound quality.

beats u pay alot for the style n name. i’d rather spend my doe on the sound

    I mix everything down in my beats by dre. THEY ARE GREAT FOR MIXING TO ME … B) B) B) EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE A PAIR…

#10

The thing about mixing your music with Beats by Dre is that those headphones are made to Color or enhance sound. You probably do not want that because your mix may not translate well on other systems

It’s better to mix with headphones that have the flattest frequency response.

#11

i use these for mixing dont laugh $30 bucks at walmart the sound quality is great mixing all styles of beats nice low end mid and hi and when im done with the beats for the day it goes back on the ps3 for mw3 trash talking

#12

AKG 240 MK2 !

#13

i agree with you, you should always have some other speaker or headphones to see if the mix is sounding still good…

#14

love love love the Beyerdynamic DT880 pro takes some time for them to break in but oh my they sound good!!

#15

I use the Shure SRH440 headphones. They’re not bad at all…been using these for about 2 years already!

#16

DT 770 Pro 250 OHM (LOVE EM)

#17

#18

just started using the beats pro ones … i like them but before i used the sennheiser hd280 pro

#19

BEATS BY DRES ARE GOOD JUST LIKE ANY OTHER HEADPHONES. I USE THOSE AND A PAIR OF 20 DOLLAR SONYS. ITS NOT REALLY ALL ABOUT THE HEADPHONES THOUGH BECAUSE MOST PPL LISTEN TO THEIR FINAL MIXES THROUGH MONITORS OR CAR SPEAKERS.

#20

I just purchased a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50’s. Best headphones I have ever had.
